Bandon Vale supplies quality cheeses to the retail sector.

At Bandon Vale, we specialise in cheddar and mozzarella cheese types, but also supply various other speciality cheeses on request including chilli, pepper and smoked varieties.

Our cheddar range includes Mild, Medium, Mature, Extra Mature and Vintage varieties.

At our purpose-built facility in West Cork, we pack cheese in various formats including block, sliced, grated, diced and waxed.

Products are packaged ready for supply to our retail partners in line with their own individual branding preferences.

Retail Block

Bandon Vale currently operates three dedicated purpose-built packing lines to produce retail block products. The standard range of pack sizes we offer is 180g to 800g. Retail block products are packed in a protective atmosphere to provide optimum shelf life. Packaging is predominately branded (parchments with label, pre-printed films) or clear film. We offer retail blocks in zip lock, with easy open/close functionality, and vacuum pack formats.

Grated

Retail grated cheese is a growing category in the convenience food sector. The standard range of pack sizes we offer is 120g to 500g. Retail grated packs are branded, free-standing pouches with the cheese packed in a protective atmosphere to provide optimum shelf life. We offer retail grated products in zip-lock packaging format with easy open/close functionality. Cheddar cheese types are most commonly sought in this format, but blends are also an option.

Slice

Retail slices are perfect for sandwiches, crackers or lunches Slices can be packed in clear or pre-printed packaging with label or pre-printed information. The standard range of pack sizes we offer is 140g to 350g. Slice products are packed in a protective atmosphere to provide optimum shelf life.

Wax

Bandon Vale hand cuts and wraps branded waxed truckles for the hamper and speciality market sectors. The standard pack size we offer is 200g.
