Bandon Vale specialise in cheddar and mozzarella, but also supply various other speciality cheeses on request including chilli, pepper and smoked varieties.

Our Cheddar range includes Mild, Medium, Mature, Extra Mature and Vintage cheeses.

At our purpose-built packing facility in West Cork, we pack cheese in various formats including block, sliced, grated, diced and waxed cheese. Products are packed ready for supply to our retail partners in line with their own brand requirements.

Retail Block

Bandon Vale currently operates three dedicated purpose-built packing lines to produce retail block products. The standard weight that we offer in this format is 180g to 800g. Retail block products are packed in a protective atmosphere to provide optimum shelf life. Packaging for the retail block products are predominately branded – parchments with label, pre-printed films, or clear packaging. We offer retail blocks in zip lock and vac pack formats.

Grated

Retail grated cheese is a growing category in the convenience food sector. The standard weight that we offer in this format is 120g to 500g. Retail grated packs are branded, free-standing pouches which are packed in a protective atmosphere to provide optimum shelf life. We offer retail grated products in zip-lock format with easy open/close functionality. Straight cheddars are commonly sought in this format, but blends are also optional.

Slice

Retail slices are perfect for sandwiches, crackers or lunches. Packaging formats are available in clear or pre-printed packaging with label or pre-printed information. The standard weight that we offer in this format is 140g to 350g. Slice products are packed in a protective atmosphere to provide optimum shelf life.

Wax

Bandon Vale hand cut and wrap branded waxed truckles for the hamper and speciality market. The standard weight that we offer in this format is 200g.
